ONE DAY A FRIEND posted on Facebook that she needed some help. After a few moments, literally, I decided that I was going to finally step up and figure out how to become a virtual assistant. I want to work with creatives, people like my friend, who were solopreneurs, mompreneurs, and small business owners with a passion to help others, share their crafts, and oh, make some money too.
I adore working with creatives – – the photographers, the artists, the creators – – there is something about their energy and passion that speaks to my soul. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with a lovely and extraordinarily talented mixed media artist who’s home based in Rome. Turns out as a creative, she was feeling overwhelmed with all the projects she had going on and needed someone to help with the less artistic aspects of her work. She teaches a video blog-making course online and I took some of the jobs she hated – – i.e. copywriting and template creation off her plate. We also worked together building a project management spreadsheet and a production video timeline.
What can I take off of your plate so that you are free to CREATE?
